The Beretta M9 has the most extensively tested and duty proven Semi-Auto Pistol designs in existence. The M9 utilizes a short recoil, delayed blowback system to cycle the action flawlessly. Built on an extremely strong, lightweight, forged aircraft-quality aluminum alloy frame, this semi-automatic pistol features an open-top slide that virtually eliminates jamming and stove piping. A chrome-lined barrel provides extreme corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning, while the deeply recessed combat muzzle crown protects the rifling. The 2-dot sight system provides rapid sight acquisition, and enhances the sight picture in low-light conditions. The spring-loaded, ambidextrous safety lever doubles as a decocking lever, and the pistol has a hammer drop catch to protect against unintentional hammer drops. A non-reflective black coating provides superior corrosion and wear resistance.
