Description:
Winchester Model 1890, 1st model, solid frame, non takedown with SN 764 (February 1891) in .22 Short. Has about 90% original case color on the receiver frame, 97% blue on barrel and magazine tube and 97% wood finish on a nice fiddleback walnut stock. Comes with correct front and rear sights. Muzzle of barrel had been crudely counterbored and since dressed up resulting in a slightly shortened barrel. Barrel measures 24 ¼ inches long, front sight slot is 5/8 inches from muzzle. Scratches appearing on both side of the frame in the photos are hardly visible with gun in hand. Photos seem to highlight those scratches. Nice bore. Priced at $10,000 plus actual shipping and insurance cost. I will provide a copy of my Driver’s License, etc. along with the gun. Please ask if you have any questions or want more pictures.
