Description:
Hard to find small gauge Winchester Model 12 Skeet grade with 28" barrel and factory round post ventilated rib.
S/N 1849707 made in 1959.
Better than 95% condition overall with minimal wear, a few scattered marks and bright finishes. There has been some light scrubbing on Right receiver wall with a resultant thinning of blue in that area. This shows more in the refraction of my hard lights, being far less noticeable in hand.
The beautifully figured wood is sound with no cracks or notable blemishes, and has flawless hand cut checkering. 14" LOP.
Standard skeet grades in 1959 typically came with 26" WS-1 vent rib barrels, but any other cataloged barrel could be requested for a nominal upcharge. This one was ordered with a 28" vent rib and Full Choke.
This barrel has the usual red Bradley front sight with silver mid bead installed. The mirror bore and all mechanical functions are excellent.
Expedited and fully insured shipping from Alaska is an additional $100.
