Winchester Model 70 Pre 64 308 Featherweight up for your consideration. It is a highly sought after 308 with an aluminum buttplate. Serial #183623 places this rifle to have been made in the year of 1951, 74 years ago. The bolt appears to have been polished at some point, eliminating any numbers that may have been scribed on it. The metal and bluing appear to be original and in nice condition. The wood appears in fine condition with scattered use marks, nothing terrible. The bore and rifling are proud with a nice crisp action, that functions properly. If you looking to add a nice rifle to your collection this could be it. Only reason I'm considering letting this one go for what I paid for it is, because I just bought an absolute safe queen for way more money than this. Thank you
