Description:
This is a 1961 Belgian made 20 gauge Browning Superposed Lightning over & under shotgun with 26-1/2" vent ribbed barrels. The barrels have bright and shiny bores that are choked improved cylinder on the bottom and modified on the top with 2-3/4" & 3" chambers. It has a length of pull of 15-1/4" for a long armed individual and the wood is 13-1/4". Of course some spacers can be removed leaving a 1" pad and a 14-1/4" length of pull. The blueing is in excellent condition with the typical scraping from the forend on the bottom barrel. The wood has several small handling marks and scrapes, but no splits, cracks or gouges. This gun is from a time when Browning was making their finest guns in Belgium and it has all hand engraving and checkering. This gun is being sold for the 93 year old widow of the original owner.
