Antique Iver Johnson 2nd model Top Break Revolver
Introducing the Iver Johnson 2nd Model small frame safety hammer , Top Break Nickel finish , Auto shell ejecting , .32 S&W short revolver, a true gem from the late 19th century. This particular model, serial number E 97656, was produced 1898.
This revolver features a 5-shot capacity, making it a reliable choice for personal protection or target shooting. The double-action trigger ensures quick and accurate shots.
Condition: 3” raised rib barrel with a nice bore showing very minor spot pitting from black powder use and still retains very good rifling. The metal of the revolver still retains most of its original nickel finish and is in excellent condition, with only minor handling marks. The original owl monogramed black checkered hard rubber grips are in very good condition with only minor wear, and the topstrap markings remain crisp and legible. Mechanically works very well in single and double action with good timing and lock-up.
Despite its age, this revolver is in excellent condition and has been well-maintained. t's the perfect addition to any antique firearm collection or for those who appreciate a classic piece of history. Overall, this Iver Johnson 2nd model top break revolver is an excellent example of a rare and historically significant firearm from the late 19th century.
