This is a splendid, Interarms-imported, all-matching rifle (including the cleaning rod) that retains 95-97% of the original blue finish, with some minor silvering at the muzzle, along the high edges, and a few spots of finish loss on the left side of the nosecap where a caustic liquid dripped and removed the blue at some point. The receiver and bolt have a correct armory bright finish, and the Argentine crest on the receiver was never "scrubbed." The added bayonet rail retains a similar gray patina, while the matching cleaning rod has some small spots of darker freckling along the visible portion. All of the metal markings, including the Argentine crest, are crisp and clear. The stock rates fine, with some scattered handling marks and blemishes marring the original military oil finish, and the Argentine cartouches are crisp and clear. An old Interarms information and instructional booklet is still attached to the trigger guard. This is a fantastic example of a desirable Argentine Model 1909 rifle, and rates excellent overall.
