Description:
Serial #526130, .22 S,L,LR, 20 inch barrel with a very fine bore with strong rifling and some scattered roughness. The muzzle has been re-crowned. This is the Winchester Model 1906 take down slide action rifle built in 1918. In fine condition the barrel shows 50-55% of the original blue with numerous scratches, and use marks fading to plum-brown with the receiver showing 25-30% blue fading to pewter-gray. The walnut stock and forearm are solid showing numerous old contusions and scratches. The action remains tight and functions properly. A fine little 1906 pump that would be fun to shoot. FFL or C&R
