Rare 1893 Marlin Antique (manufactured in 1893) 32" octagon barrel. See copy of Cody Museum Research Sheet. 38-55 caliber. 32" barrel, with 28" magazine tube. The 28" magazine tube was longest length that Marlin offered. Overall condition of the rifle is a nice smooth dark brown patina. Markings are nice and crisp. Correct / original front and rear sights. Bore is dark maybe a 6 on a scale from 1 to 10. It may clean up better. Both forend and buttstock show normal handling marks, scrapes, scratches, and dings. Correct buttplate. All in all a super rare Marlin and an Antique as well, can ship directly to your doorsteps. I will consider trades and and I also offer a layaway plan.
