Description:
1986 Springfield M1A National Match assembled with GI parts. This example is chambered in 7.62x51 mm Nato with a 22" National Match barrel and fitted with a classic long slotted flash suppressor that retains the bayonet lug. The front sight is a National Match "072" blade set between two protective ears dovetailed and set screwed to a base that is integral to the flash hider. The rear sight is a fully adjustable hooded "520" aperture set between protective ears. The stock is one piece walnut with a semi-pistol grip, straight comb stock with the factory sling swivel stud at the bottom of the forend and a fixed sling swivel at the rear. The upper handguard is also made of walnut. This Springfield National Match remains in excellent condition with minimal storage wear and also comes with a single 20 round GI magazine and a Springfield 1907 style leather sling. Serial 037842.
