Description:
This is a 1904 Parker Brothers side by side D Grade boxlock shotgun chamber in 12 Gauge. The barrel rib is marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CONN. TITANIC STEEL.". The barrel flat is marked "K, 48, 3, +" on the right and "+, PAT'D APR 12.1876" on the left barrel. The underside of the lug is marked "2" and the left with "122112". The top of the forend iron has the serial number "122112". The sides of the frame are marked "PARKER BROS" on banners. The water table is marked "PAT'D JAN. 18, AUG. 16. 1887 / MAY 7, OCT.8.1889" on the right side. The left side of the water table is marked "3 / 122112 / D". The trigger guard tang is marked "122112". The receiver is case colored and has decorative engraving with the Parker Bros. banners. The receiver also shows scroll engravings with a pointer scene on each side, pheasant scene on the trigger plate and there is also decorative engraving on the exposed portion of the forend iron and border engraving on the rear of the barrels. The barrels are 30" with extractors and a solid concave rib with wavy lines. The sights are a white front and mid-bead sight. The stocks are a two piece checkered walnut set with splinter forend, straight grip, ventilated rubber "Larry Delcrego & Son" recoil pad, and the initial-plate on belly is marked (MCL). Stock measurements (DC-1 3/8", DH-2 1/8") with a neutral cast. Gun only. 12 Gauge

Metal Condition: "The right top barrel at the chamber area, has a spot where the finish is missing. About 13"" down from this is a spot shows an area that is lightly pitted. The rest of the gun retains full finish coverage.
Wood Condition: "The stock set shows minimal nicks, dings, and rates about 99%. The top coat of clear finish shows cracks over most of the stock surface and areas where the finish has come off (see pictures). The forend is also affected.
Bore Condition: Bright bores with no corrosion or pits.
