WWI DWM P.08 RIG DATED 1916 WITH MATCHING NUMBERS INCLUDING THE MAGAZINE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. 
THE 90% BLUING SHOWS MODERATE HIGH EDGE WEAR. THE STRAW SMALL PARTS RETAIN APPROX 80% -/+ OF THEIR COLOUR. THE BORE IS MIRROR BRIGHT WITH VERY EXCELLENT + RIFLING. THE CHECKERED WALNUT GRIPS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH MATCHED NUMBER 19 ON THE INSIDE OF THE GRIP PANEL. COMES WITH ONE MATCHING MAGAZINE AND A LOVELY CONDITION HOLSTER WITH ITS ORIGINAL UNMARKED STRIPPING/LOADING TOOL.

PROVENANCE: IT IS BELIEVED THIS PISTOL BELONGED TO A US NAVAL OFFICER WW1/WW11 AND WAS KEPT IN SAFE KEEPING AS A MOMENTO AND LATER DISCOVERED STORED FOR SAFE KEEPING.  THERE IS AN INTERESTING INSCRIPTION ON THE REAR OF THE HOLSTER "G.BOWER E.F, HALE E. EDDY. N.Y." ON THE INNER FLAP G.BOWER
C/o A.DAY. HALE EDDY. N.Y.USA. Some interesting research could be forthcoming to discover the origin of this Luger Pistoloand to whom it belonged to? 

DWM monogram on the Center toggle. Right receiver marked with Imperial proofs and miltary acceptance mark.
