The M48 BO is an unmarked Yugoslavian M48 Mauser rifle intended for export, with "BO" standing for "bez obeležja," meaning "without markings". Produced by Zastava from 1950-1965, these rifles have their Yugoslavian crest and other markings deliberately scrubbed off. They are based on the German K98 Mauser, are chambered in 8mm
