Description:
Ithaca Model 37 - 16 Ga. Pump Shotgun - Nice older restoration with an updated checkered pistol grip style stock and original grooved forend and butt plate. Hammerless take down design by John Browning used initially on the Remington model 17. Features the unique bottom loading and ejection port, coupled with the light weight alloy receiver helped Ithaca set new standards in pump shotgun designs. 26 In. long barrel with Poly- Grip -5 position choke selector and front bead sight. 4 round tubular magazine. Bore is clean and bright in excellent condition. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing. Slide action is smooth and crisp. Stock and forend are in very nice condition with minimal handling marks. Includes new soft sleeve. Exceptional condition for it's age . Manufactured in 1949. This one is ready to hunt.
