Two gun cased set of Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolvers. This set includes a Robert E. Lee revolver and a Ulysses S. Grant revolver second generation model numbers C9001 and C9002. These guns were made in 1971 and are in near perfect, unfired condition. The case hardened colors are exceptionaly vibrant. In addition, this set was supplied with an English fit two gun walnut presentation case in maroon velvet lined interior with key designed to accommodate the following included accessories:
Model W5045 1851 Navy Bullet Mold - 36 caliber. Designed with two cavities for molding both round balls and conical bullets. Brass two piece straight leg body. Two line "Colt's Patent is stamped between the hinge pin and the funnel on the color case hardened steel sprue cutter.
Model W5047 Second generation medium sized powder flask with a “Stand of Flags” behind a carriage mounted cannon. The top left is the Lone Star flag of Texas. The remaining are all U.S. battle flags. To the right and left and below the flags are pikes and naval anchors. Below are cannon balls, a ramrod, and Bowie knife. Above the stand of flags are 2 crossed rifles over 2 crossed revolvers-all pointing upward. Between the revolvers and flags, “COLTS PATENT” is embossed in 2 lines. This pattern appears only on one side of the flask. The inscription “DIXON AND SONS” Over “MADE IN ENGLAND” stamped in 2 lines on the reverse side of the flask body near the top and does not appear on other Navy SOF Flasks
A Colts style “L” shaped nipple wrench with lustrous finish and tapered shoulders
A handful of 36 caliber round balls.
