You are looking at a Colt model of 1911. U.S. Army chambered in 45 acp. This pistol was manufactured in the year 1918. It comes with the original period correct holster made by Warren leather goods co. Stamped 1918 and J.A.O. This pistol also comes with a total of two original magazines WW1 era magazines. One is the lanyard loop style and the other is a flat bottom. Both magazines have the correct two tone look. unfortunately someone has jeweled the trigger and hammer but this could be restored or they could be replaced. There is a gouge mark on the grip of the frame as pictured. I am unsure if the bluing is original, the only thing that makes me say that is that the serial number is lightly stamped. I am sure that this pistol has work done due to the way the hammer and trigger are jeweled but overall this pistol looks very clean in my opinion. See pictures to judge condition for yourself as I am not a master on these models.
