Description:
This limited-edition Colt set commemorates the US Bicentennial. The three classic Colt revolvers in this set: 1) – Colt python in 357 magnum, 6-inch barrel with unfluted cylinder, special engraving, and special wood stocks 2) Colt Single Action Army in 45 Colt, 7 ½-inch barrel with unfluted cylinder, special engraving, and special wood stocks
3) Colt Third Model Dragoon in 44 caliber, 9-inch barrel with engraved cylinder, special engraving, and special wood stocks. All three guns are near-mint showing no marks; obviously all are unfired except for factory proofing. The silver plating on the Dragoon grip frame is showing tarnish that is easily removed. All black powder accouterments are excellent. The dark, walnut wood case, drawers and book are excellent - inside and out. I do not think that the book has ever been opened. An original Colt box with paperwork is provided for each gun. The boxes are all in excellent, almost-new condition. The manual for the SAA is not available. Unfortunately, the serial numbers on the boxes do not match the guns. I purchased this set from an individual that had two complete Bicentennial sets. He sold the other set with the wrong boxes. Although not original to the set, these boxes and shipper are authentic for this set. Please review the pictures to personally assess condition and contact me with any questions. Note that this set can be returned only if damaged during shipment.
