Custom Winchester pre-64 Model 70 Featherweight .270 Winchester. Based on a factory barreled action with serial 467147, features include a 22-inch barrel (hooded ramp front sight with silver-beaded blade, adjustable folding rear sight), jeweling (extractor, bolt body, follower), custom trigger guard (inside-the-bow release) and a custom stock (sunburst walnut, rosewood and maple accents, carved, Monte Carlo with roll-over scalloped cheek rest, full-length bedding). Maker is unknown. OPTIC: A Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10 (gloss, one-inch tube, Duplex reticle, .25 MOA click value) is secured in Leupold mounts. Lenses are tack sharp with good coatings. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with optic) is 8.6 pounds and the length-of-pull is 14.15 inches. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright. Trigger pull is crisp. Mechanics are solid. Metal and wood finishes are each approximately 85 percent. The price is firm. $1,250 plus shipping.
