This is the Field Grade Ithaca Flues model side-by-side shotgun manufactured in 1918 that was factory upgraded with selective ejectors & a rare feature on field grade guns and is confirmed by the factory which lists ejectors and fluid steel barrels at the time of factory shipment. In excellent condition the barrels show about 97-98% original blue and the frame has perhaps 75-80% of the original vibrant case-hardened colors with the balance fading to a smoky gray. The forearm is excellent nice checkering and the push button release with the stock now solid showing expert repairs to either side of the top wrist nearest the lever which are visible under strong light and a bruise on the lower left. It has the original Ithaca hard rubber butt plate. The action functions properly with tight lock up, barrels on face with lever resting just right of center. The selective ejectors function properly. The LOP is 14 inches with drops of 1.75 and 3 inches at the comb and heel. A rare selective ejector Field Grade Ithaca in exceptionally high condition. FFL or C&R Price: $1,350.00 Curio/Relic: Yes |
