Description:
This is a deluxe target model peecussion underhammer .45 cal rifle. With a serial #40375, and .45 cal, with a 32” octagon heavy target barrel with a bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces retain 95% blue with one small area of abrasion loss on the left barrel flat. The Americamn walnut stock rates excellent showing a few handling marks with a plastic buttplate also in excellent condition. The barrel is marked “Hopkins & Allen The 45 Target” as Numrich Arms obtained the rights to the brand. These rifles feature a simple interchangeable barrel system via a single pin. The rifle retains the v-notch barrel mounted iron sight and is currently sighted with a functional Lyman Model 57SA aperture target sight, the front sight a globe target sight with globe insert. Cun will be shipped with the tock detached as the barrel weight will unbalance the gun durimng shipping amnd breal the wrost of the stock.
