33070-ORNATE GERMAN 4MM ZIMMERSCHUETZEN OR ZIMMERSTUTZEN AIR RIFLE BY GEORG GREISS OF MUNICH CIRCA 1890’S. 25” fluted octagon barrel decorated with silver floral motifs at the breech and signed in silver inlay “GEORG GREISS IN MUNCHEN”. Metal profusely floral relief engraved overall and highly articulated walnut Schuetzen stock floral carved and checkered. Highest quality work and level of coverage. Double set triggers and Schuetzen tang and globe front sights. Barrel rear sight removed. Excellent condition overall with nearly all the blue and stock finish. Has seen little use and is in working order with fine bore. Nicest and most ornate Zimmerschuetzen we have had. $2400.
