Description:
Manufactured in 1925. The Winchester Model 53 was one of the finest lever actions to hit the market right at the turning point of the American Wild West in the 1880s, and would go on to see use during the Spanish-American war, Mexican Revolution of 1911, and World War I. The rifle would even see modern recognition in various films and video games such as Fallout: New Vegas. This particular model has held up beautifully, still bearing its original bluing and wood varnish with minor patina and scratch marks. The rifling and bore are perfectly preserved, while the lever, hammer, and trigger are all mechanically sound. The rifle sports a 21.5" barrel with an overall length of 39" and weight of 5 lbs, making it lightweight and versatile, while the magazine tube holds 6+1 rounds of .32 Winchester Center Fire (WCF).
