Description:
This is a fine LC Smith 2E shotgun made in 1901 , it has Crown Steel 26 inch barrels . All matching serial numbers . Right barrel is .006 restriction . left barrel is .009 restriction . LOP is 14 inches , drop at heel is 2.5 inches , at toe 1.75 inches . Chambers are 2 3/4 inch , it has ejectors and a 2 position safey . Weight is 6 lbs , 10 oz.   Serial #5107 , made in March of 1901 .  Factory letter is included . Condition of bores is excellent , no pitting , dents or corrision , shiney and as good as day they were made . Fine line checkering still sharp and complete . Traces of case color on action . Barrels contain 98% blueing and no dents . This gun is in excellent condition . I have shot it several times with modern Fiocchi and Winchester low recoil target loads . It easily smokes the claybirds out to 40 yards . This is a very fine Classic American Shotgun . Made at a time when manufacturing had no equal then or today . No sales to Alaska , Hawaii, California . Must ship to FFL or C&R license
