Unbelivable, A full box of paper cartridges complete with the primers and the originalcotton padding for protection.
The label indicates in small print that they were made in the Watervliet Arsenal and dated 1863.
That was right at the height of the Civil war.
The box does show some slighht handling, however the contents are complete.
What a find for the Civil War collector or the Cartidge collector .
It is certainly a complement to the collector or a Centerpiece for a cartidge display .
