Description:
Very Rare Fial pistol / Carbine Assme.First hit the market in 1920.
Fiala An Alaskan pioneer and friend of Teddy Roosevelt wanted a pistol carbine for use in Alaskan temperatures.
He designed this gun to operate with an automatic slide return.
However, the slide return has to be manually done to preclude possibility of jamming because of freezing temperatures.
It was sold in a kit form with a box and 3 barrels.
We are offering the gun with the target barrel, the buttstsock,  the carbine barrel and forearm.
The company was sold after failing in the late 1920's to Hartford Arms that made it into a  a proper Semi Automatic.
They then it sold it to a company called Deep Hole Drilling in Conn.
When they went into production of the the gun the company changed it's name 10 "High Standard".
The rest is history.
The condition iof the set is outstanding, retainig about 90+% of the original blue.
The slight there is  due to the usual sharp edge silverinand some some slight scattered surface flakig.
No rust patches nor scratches and dents.
The wood stock and forearm are really super showing almost no use. The bore of both bare are bright with very shrp rifileng and and alight whisp of frost.

For the collector this is a real historic find and budget priced atthe same time.

Price: $1,295.00
