Description:
Very solid example of a Winchester 1892 rifle with the octagonal barrel. Unbelievable condition for a 1908 manufactured gun. Barrel and feed tube have 90% or better bluing remaining and the receiver still has about 40%. Appears all original finish with the wood in excellent condition one minor bump on thr forearm. Has been drilled for the " Climin-Lyman" sight perhaps at the factory. I have fired this rifle 3 rounds with the 86 grain soft point ammunition. The 3 shots could be covered with a fifty cent piece at 50 yards. A real tack driver! Bore is pristine. Please add $65 for shipping and insurance to your FFL or C&R.
