Beautifully preserved Smith & Wesson Model 35, chambered in .22 Long Rifle. These revolvers are scarce and highly collectible, especially in clean condition. The Model 35 was produced in relatively limited numbers and is known for its long, slender 6\" barrel and elegant “small-frame target" profile. This example has excellent mechanics, a clean bore, and classic S&W blueing that still shows depth and shine.

History of the Smith & Wesson Model 35
The Smith & Wesson Model 35 (originally known as the .22/32 Kit Gun Target) was introduced in 1911 as part of S&W’s early rimfire target revolver line. Built on the I-frame, it was designed as a compact, lightweight target revolver ideal for field carry—hikers, campers, and outdoorsmen often kept them in their “kit," which is where the Kit Gun name comes from.
By the mid-20th century, the model evolved into what collectors now call the Model 35, manufactured in limited quantities until 1974. Hallmarks of the Model 35 include:
