Description:
This Winchester was produced in 1929. The rifle's serial number is 10646. This rifle is chambered for the popular 30 W.C.F. [30-30]. The bore is in very fine condition with a bright bore. The barrel is the standard rifle with the 24 inch barrel. The sights are original to this gun. The take down feature is tight with no looseness or play. The action works smoothly as expected. This old refinish would rate a 98% or better condition. This refinish is far better than normally seen on these rifles. The stock and forend have the original finish intact. The stock and forend have no chips or cracks to the wood. This rifle is a very nice shooter grade rifle that still will shoot great and have fun with! This Model 55 is seldom seen as there were only 20,592 of these rifles ever produced. This box of shells is for display only and not for sale!
