This rifle is dated to 1902. The rifle's serial number is 368134. This rifle is chambered for the 30 Army cartridge [30-40 Krag]. The bore is in very fine condition with bright sharp lands. The barrel is the standard musket barrel of 30 inches. The sights are original to this rifle. The action works smoothly with no issues. The stock has the inspectors stamp and 1902 date in a box above the trigger area. The stock and forend have no chips or other damage to the wood. There is no accessories in the stock compartment. The original bluing would rate a 96% on the barrel. The receiver would rate a 94% or better condition. This is a very decent condition Krag rifle for the military collector and Springfield collector to enjoy!
