Description:
Selling a gorgeous weatherby Mark V in .300 weatherby Magnum. This is from the factory weatherby custom shop as is indicated on the underside of the floor plate. The gun features the following upgrades:
Fluted bolt
Jeweled (demascened) bolt
Jeweled floor plate
Engraved underside of floor plate
Very high grade figured wood (pictures don't do it justice, the wood is OUTSTANDING!)
Fleur de Lis stock and ornate front wood checkering pattern
Cocking indicator
Pachmyer butt pad
Factory weatherby scope
When I purchased the gun about 4 years ago I was told that it had never been fired and I have never fired it. I have no way to verify that it hasn't been shot, but I can say that the gun is in nearly new condition. No major blemishes or defects in the wood or metal. This gun is beautiful and collector grade. It was made in Japan. The serial number is H2005. It has the factory weatherby scope. I hate to part with this beauty, but at this point I am more interested in guns to shoot vs guns to collect (and I have a certain purchase in mind).
You are welcome to come see the gun at my home in Pine Grove, Pa 17963. If you don't need to see it in person prior to purchase I am can ship it to your FFL after receiving full payment. Professional packing and shipping will be done by the Mail Dock Business center in Lebanon, Pa. I shipped another weatherby similar to this and the packing and shipping was around $150.
