Description:
Special order 30 inch extra length octagon barrel chambered in 45-60 WCF caliber with a slight ring about 4 inches from the muzzle. Otherwise decent rifling. Barrel and full length magazine tube are a gray/brown color. Sights include a blade front and sporting rear. Receiver is also about the same color as the barrel. Hammer and lever are gray too with hints of case colors. Set trigger adjustment screw is absent. Action is a little sluggish. Wood has been refinished and has some scattered minor dings and a minor chip absent on the left at the corner of the rifle style buttplate. "4TH COL. VOL." has been carved on the lower right side of the stock. Manufactured in 1882.
