Savage Model 10 Predator Hunter – 22-250 – 24" Fluted Barrel – Nikon 4.5-14x40 Scope
For varmints and predators, the 22-250 round is a great choice. It’s a fast, accurate, flat-shooting rounds that lets you place shots with precision at long range. This Savage Model 10 (serial number H009351) is chambered in that 22-250 caliber and it’s all dressed up and ready to go thin out your varmint herd.
The rifle has a 24 inch fluted barrel to help stretch both distance and velocity on your round. These rifles did not come with sights but this one has a matching Nikon scope already mounted for you. The rifle is fed by a detachable magazine and has a tang-mounted safety.
The stock and scope are both wearing Real Tree Max 1 camo, and it’s a great look. The stock ends in a generous black rubber recoil pad. A padded, nylon sling lets you shoulder the rifle for the trek back to camp.
The barrel is in Very Good condition with almost all of the finish intact. The stock is in Excellent shape and the recoil pad is Very Good. Action on the bolt is smooth, the bore is clean and the barrel is bright. Rifling looks to be strong as well. The trigger is just fantastic. Very light and very nice.
The scope that’s mounted on the rifle is a Nikon 4.5-14x40 model. Glass and reticle are clear. The magnification adjustment works as it should. Exterior of the scope is Very Good as well.
When this rifle came to us, an infrared red light was mounted on top of the scope. We’ve removed the light for ease of viewing and shipping but the light is included with your purchase. We’ve included photos of it as well. This light is a Wicked Lights W-402ZF model. We seem to be missing the coil cord tail cap so we can’t verify if the light works. Also included are the pic scope mount and adjustable mount for the light.
Overall, this seems to be a lightly used, good quality rifle and scope that are ready to take care of your gophers, prairie dogs, coyotes and other small-medium varmints and predators. If you’ve looking for a quality gun to take care of some of these pests, this looks to be a great option for you!
Purchase includes the rifle, scope and nylon, padded sling as shown. A Wicked Lights W-402ZF is also included but not mounted.
This is a consignment sale and, like all of our consignments, we have not test fired this rifle. We have performed our function checks and find no issues to report.
