Description:
Serial #6166i, 9mm Luger, 5 inch barrel with a very fine bore. This is an import marked WWII German P.38 pistol manufactured by Mauser with the byf 43 code on the slide and the "Eagle over 135" acceptance stamps. The matching numbered pistol remains in excellent condition retaining virtually all 90-95% of the original blue/gray finish with some very slight silvering on the leading edges. The import marking is well concealed on the underside of the grip frame below the hammer. It comes with two original German WWII magazines, one marked "jvd" above "P38" on the side with "WA 706" acceptance stamp above "jvd" on the spine and remains in excellent condition. The second magazine is numbered to a different gun on the floorplate and is marked "P.38" on the side with a "Eagle over 359" on the spine. It comes in an original "P.38" marked hard shell leather holster marked "dkk 43" which has supple leather showing a repair on the inside with black cloth tape. An excellent overall example of a mid to late War P.38. FFL or C&R
