For sale is an absolutely DYNAMITE Colt Single Action Army chambered in .45 Long Colt. This gun was manufactured in 2002 and donated by Colt, John Adams Jr. and Sr., and Doug Turnbull Restoration Inc. to Grant's Farm Hunting and Shooting Sports Heritage Trust near St. Louis Missouri.
The engraving is listed as C coverage Master Engraving executed by John Adams Jr. The attention and level of detail throughout the gun is some of the best I've examined. The scroll is exceptional and shaded at every turn by fine, well placed punch dot backgrounds. Please take your time to examine it closely and really appreciate the effort he put into this work, it is above and beyond the standard engraving you will see on most single actions!
This gun is also fitted with a set of factory ivory grips that were fitted and hand carved by John Adams Sr. with a scene from Grant's Farm and their signature Civil War Cannon. The detail in the carving is quite nice and is complimented well by the color and grain of the grips.
The barrel and cylinder feature 24K gold bands also completed by John Adams Sr.
To top it all off the gun was finished by Turnbull in their signature blue and case hardened finish!
Comes with Colt factory letter, letter from Adams Engraving, and a Colt Blue Box
