Description:
Browning Belgium made Pigeon Grade 20 gauge O/U shotgun. Made in 1970 this very attractive Superposed is a "field" configuration with 28" vent rib barrels that are factory choked IC/M.
Very nicely executed Pigeon engraving. Typical for a 1970 gun it has a short tang and flat knob pistol grip stock.
The pistol grip butt stock is fashioned from a very nicely figure piece of walnut with 14 1/2" length of pull over a factory installed 1" Browning recoil pad. There is 1 3/8" of drop at the comb and 2" of drop at the heel. Neutral cast.
The field style forearm was crafted out of an equally fine piece of walnut.
Condtion wise this gun is 9%+ over all original finishes with just the slightest of wear under the forearm where it slided on the bottom of the barrels.
