Marlin model 444 made in 1966 ** 1st Generation** 24 inch Micro Groove Jm stamped barrel, Open sights adjustable rear hooded front, Factory sling studs, 2/3 lenght magazine, Ist generation Monte Carlo stright stock with original Marlin red butt pad, Orianal factory finish and bluing are in excellent condition, Bore looks new, Rifle looks like it has never had a scope mounted on it, The 1st generation 444's were made from 1965 to 1971 only, These rifles are becoming very collectable and sought after by hunters in states where it is now legal to hunt with stright wall cartridges, Rifle is in very high condition has not had much use.
