Up for sale is a 1914 DWM German Army Luger, a classic and highly collectible WWI military pistol. This example was produced in the first year of the war and retains the iconic DWM toggle stamp and 1914 chamber date. It’s a strong, historically significant piece for any German military or early 20th-century handgun collection.
This Luger was a Russian Capture and has forced matched serial numbers on the major components (receiver, barrel, frame, toggle assembly), with typical inspector and proof marks intact. Finish appears consistent with original military blue; wear and tear is present, appropriate for a service-issued sidearm of this era that has seen major combat. Bore is dark with pitting.
