Description: A revolutionary rimfire rifle for its time, the SA-22 would be one of John Moses Browning's masterpieces, introducing a semi-auto varmint rifle that could also be taken apart in two pieces for compact storage and travel. The rifle would make its debute in 1914 being produced by FN Herstal, and is still being produced to this day by Miroku. This rifle lacks a serial number making its exact year of manufacture unknown, but it does confirm its creation to predate 1966. The rifle holds 11 rounds that are fed via the buttstock, which are then chambered by a metal tab just ahead of the trigger. The rifle sports a 19" barrel, full length of 37", and weighs just 5 lbs, making it light and infinitely handy. The original bluing, engraving, and wood furniture have largely remained untouched with very minor blemish throughout, however, there is minor play in the locking system which is a common quirk with these rifles. No extras are included. Chambered in .22 Long Rifle. .22 Long Rifle Price: $799.99 Metal Condition: "Exquisite condition, original bluing and engraving intact Wood Condition: "Original wood varnish, almost no blemish or damage Bore Condition: "Solid rifling, intact bore with minor patina at muzzle Barrels: "Rifled, takedown feature Triggers: Single Fore End: "Wood, flawless condition Butt Pad: Polymer buttplate Weight: 5 lb Sights: Iron Sights Item Location: Gainesville, VA |
