Description:
The Winchester SX4 Field Semi-Auto Shotgun has improved ergonomics over the previous SX3 model, being slimmer and lighter with a slightly forward balance point for fluid winging and follow through. Larger operating controls (safety, bolt handle, and bolt release) facilitate getting on target quickly, as well as safe operation. The SX4 Field comes with a satin, oil-finished walnut stock and an Inflex Technology recoil pad. A hard heel insert on the pad makes mounting the shotgun snag-free. A matte-black barrel and receiver blend into shadows and natural habitats. A TRUGLO Long Bead fiber-optic front sight offers a precise sight picture in a variety of light conditions. The semi-automatic shotgun uses a self-adjusting active valve gas system that cycles a wide variety of shotgun shells, while reducing recoil to provide you with superfast follow-up shots on missed birds or for shooting multiple targets. The SX4 gas-operated action fires and cycles all factory 2-3/4" and 3" length shotshells with steel, tungsten, bismuth, or lead loads. The chamber and bore are hard chrome-plated, and the barrel is back-bored using the interchangeable Invector-Plus™ choke tube system. A reversible crossbolt safety button is located on the rear of the trigger guard for quick access; and the trigger group easily drops out for field cleaning. 20 Gauge
