Description:
Until I picked up this revolver a couple years ago, I didnt even know they existed. Neither did big names in collectible firearms  like Bob Simpson of Simpson LTD or Mike Clark of Collectors Firearms in Houston. Apparently, most of the 25,000 revolver contract that was procured through France in 1915 was ran into the ground during WWI, Greco-Italin war and Intervention into Southern Russia in 1917. I was able to find two revolvers that sold in the US in the last 10 years and both had no original finish left. This particular gun looks like it was barely used, with about 80+% original high gloss blue, near perfect bore and crisp tight action. It does show discoloration and some fine pitting in the areas, probably from poor storage. Grips are near perfect which is always the sign of minimal use. The gun has a US inspectors mark on the frame near hammer and EE Gree Army stamp on the butt  that stands for ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΟΣ ΣΤΡΑΤΟΣ, Hellenic Army. CR license is acceptable for this gun.
