This S & W M14-1 - K-38 Masterpiece is a .38 Cal configuration & was mfg IN 1961. It featues a pinned 8 3/8" bbl w/partially serrated wide sighting rib, raised partridge frt sight, fully adj, micro click rear sight, non-schrouded ejector rod, fluted six-shot cyl, case hardened & serrated .500" Target Trigger (w/adj travel stop) See pics
& Hammer, K Target Frame - w/Four screws & a10 groove grip strap & is about 99% or "Pristine".
The bore has like new rifling & "Glistens". The grips are original & are the "Diamond" checkered w/Gold/ brass "S&W Emblem". The action is smooth w/very god lockup.
This is to me a true collector piece & I would rate it an "NRA Excellent".
