Up for is a 1917 DWM P.08 Artillery Luger, one of the most iconic and desirable configurations of the P.08 series. The Artillery model was designed for WWI field units, featuring the distinctive 8-inch barrel, tangent adjustable rear sight, and long sight radius.
This example features a 1917 chamber date with the DWM scroll on the toggle, correct for this production year. Major components—including the frame, barrel, receiver, and toggle assembly—are mismatched, with proper imperial acceptance and proof marks intact. Adjusting rear sight is fully functional.
Bluing appears original, showing honest service wear but no signs of refinishing. Bore is bright with strong rifling and no pitting.
