Description:
This is a 22" barrel from the T/C Custom Shop. This is a heavy profile barrel, not bull, has the standard T/C twist rate of 1:10. There is no provision for rifle sights, just a 4 hole scope base. It's in excellent shape, strong rifling, and shoots well. This barrel was purchased by me as used and was converted by the original owner to Ackley Improved (I was aware of all these details when I purchased this). It started life as a 26" high luster gloss finished barrel from the T/C Custom Shop chambered in .30-30 Winchester. After purchasing it, I had it shortened and matte finished Cerakote for hunting purposes. It's very accurate, and brass is easily formed by shooting factory loaded ammunition. I've pictured a fired .30-30 round showing the benefits of increased powder capacity of the Ackley Improved case. The pictured all steel Warne scope base is included. Though not included, I can supply a Redding 2 die set (sizing and seater) in the Ackley chambering for a reasonable fee.
