Description:
Early special order Second Model Deluxe rifle features a 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 44 WCF caliber with an excellent bright shiny bore. Original sights include a German silver blade front and sporting rear. Barrel and and full length magazine tube retain about 75% thinning blue toning somewhat. English style proof marks at the breech. Receiver retains 80-90% bright vivid case colors with thumbprint dust cover. Set trigger works properly. Crisp functioning action. Checkered deluxe grade walnut with the correct checkering style for the 2nd Models. Rifle style buttplate. Overall gun is in excellent condition. Very fine hard to find original little gun complete with a lengthy letter from George Madis describing all the features of this gun as well as a Cody Research Form.
