Description:
One of the most favored commercially-available shotguns used in shotgun competitions, the Browning Citori has a long history of dedicated fans thanks to its accuracy, customizability, and longevity. Available for sale is a 1987 Citori chambered in 20 gauge. This shotgun is is chambered to accept up to 3" shells and sports a set of 26" barrels with a vented checkered rib with single silver front bead. The barrels are threaded to accept Invector choke tubes and include both modified and improved cylinder choke tubes. This Browning Citori is a very handy field gun that swings easily, thanks to the shorter barrels and sub-7 pound weight. The shotgun has a single selective gold-plated trigger with selective automatic ejectors. It is dressed with a set of beautiful gloss walnut furniture with sharp checkering on the pistol grip and semi-beavertail forend. The stock is capped with a plastic buttplate and has a cast-on angle with 14 ½" length-of-pull, 1 ¼" comb drop, and 1 ¾" comb drop. This shotgun is in excellent operating condition, with tight fitment and smooth action. However, there are various cosmetic flaws throughout the gun: the stock has a couple points of wear/usage rash near the pistol grip and comb. The barrels are rust-free and clean in the bore, but the external finish has some light pitting and has seen some touch-ups in the bluing. The rib also has some spots of light rust and finish wear. This Citori does not include a case or box. 20 Gauge
