Custom Colt Python .357 Magnum. Made in 1964, serial 38144 has a six-inch barrel (full lug, vent rib, serrated blade front sight), rust blue finish with polished accents (cylinder latch, trigger, portions of the hammer), adjustable rear sight and Herrett target grips. No box, papers, grips or accessories are present. ENGRAVING: Signed by Ogawa and executed with outstanding quality and detail, an intricate leafy vine pattern flows over at least 85 percent of the exposed metal surfaces. CONDITION: Clearly seldom fired and likely never holstered, condition is outstanding. The bore is strong and bright. Trigger pulls are superb (even for a Python). The cylinder rotates without stutter and locks drum tight. Metal finish is at least 98 percent and shows a trace of plum. The price is firm and layaway is available. $6,000 plus shipping.
