Custom Colt Python .357 Magnum. Made in 1968, serial 78318 has a 2.5-inch barrel (full lug, vent rib) and an adjustable rear sight. Custom features include a color case finish and Herrett target grips. No box, papers or additional accessories are present. ENGRAVING: Sadly unsigned, the work is outstanding. A total of 13 busts of gothic creatures are surrounded by intricate leafy vine to just short of full coverage. CONDITION: The bore is pristine. Trigger pulls are smooth. The cylinder rotates without stutter and locks perfectly tight. The trigger reset shows occasional hesitation. Colors are uniform and strong. Only trace indications of handling are evident. The price is firm and layaway is available. $5,000 plus shipping.
