The Ruger Blackhawk was introduced in 1955 as a modern, stronger, and more affordable alternative to the Colt Single Action Army revolver, which was discontinued in the early 1940's. It has since become one of the most popular single action guns on the market. This particular .357 Magnum Blackhawk is a classic from 1955. It is in really good shape for its age. It does show quite a bit of holster wear and the drag line on the cylinder is definitely there, but there is no rust, the action is smooth, the lockup is tight, and the bore looks nice and bright. There is no box or case included. .357 Mag
