Desirable 30WCF caliber Winchester Model 1894 made in 1910 with typical saddle ring features: 20" round barrel with full magazine, plain trigger, blued and case hardened finish, stocks are gumwood; sights are a special order Marbles front and 3 leaf express rear with all leaves intact.
CONDITION: Barrel retains 65% fine aged blue; magazine tube 80% brighter blue drifting to plum; hammer and lever retain 5% bright case colors in the protected areas, otherwise have drifted to a smoky nickel-silver; receiver has been cleaned bright with no finish remaining, and butt plate has flaked to a spotty patina with some crust at the top toe from poor storage; original saddle ring intact. Action is smooth with a properly working half cock safety and very strong hammer spring. Tang screw is a replacement. Bore is an 8 of 10, somewhat gray with mild wear but no pitting, should clean better, and should spin a bullet just fine. Stocks show typical nicks and scratches, fore arm has the typical split ahead of the barrel band, butt stock has someone's initials scratched in on both sides. A decent 1894 SRC in a desirable caliber to add to your collection and have fun shooting.
