This Winchester Model 1917 is a right hand bolt action rifle in .30-06 Springfield Cal. It has a 26-inch barrel with a blade front sight and side protectors and a numbered sliding aperture rear sight with side protectors. The forearm is smooth walnut with finger grooves. The buttstock is a smooth grip walnut pistol grip with a metal buttplate with storage, no tools. S/N 170870. Barrel is stamped W 2-18 .30-06 Springfield
